Pneuma African Foundation is an International Civil Society.
What is an International Civil Society Foundation?
An International Civil Society Foundation is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization that works beyond national borders to serve humanity and address global challenges. It acts as a bridge between communities, governments, and international partners—focusing on improving people’s lives, defending human rights, and fostering sustainable development.
Civil society foundations bring together citizens, volunteers, professionals, and partners who are committed to creating positive change. Unlike governments or businesses, they are driven by values of compassion, justice, and equality, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Such foundations play a critical role in giving a voice to marginalized groups, promoting accountability, and building inclusive societies where individuals can live with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
