PAF warmly joins all Ugandans and friends of Uganda around the world in celebrating the 64th Anniversary of Uganda’s Independence on 9th October 2026.
As we commemorate this important national day, we reflect on our country’s journey since gaining independence in 1962 and honour the courage, sacrifices, and determination of those who worked tirelessly to secure our freedom.
This celebration reminds us of the importance of peace, unity, patriotism, equality, and collective responsibility in building a stronger and more prosperous Uganda.
At PNEUMA AFRICAN FOUNDATION, we believe that true independence is reflected not only in national freedom but also in the ability of every citizen to live with dignity, access opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to society. We remain committed to supporting vulnerable children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, while empowering communities through education, skills development, and community-based initiatives.
As we celebrate this milestone, we call upon all Ugandans to embrace unity, promote love and respect for one another, support the most vulnerable members of our communities, and work together towards a future where every individual has an opportunity to thrive.
Let us continue building a Uganda where children can access education, young people can develop valuable skills, older persons are treated with dignity, and persons with disabilities are included in every aspect of community life.
May this Independence Day renew our hope, strengthen our commitment to national development, and inspire us to work together for a peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous nation.
Happy 64th Independence Day, Uganda!
May God bless Uganda and all her people.
Restoring Hope. Empowering Lives. Transforming Communities.
