PAF Strengthens Support for Children Through Proper Documentation
Last week, Pneuma African Foundation (PAF) convened a crucial meeting to review updates on the children slated for support under our programs. During the session, we prioritized children who were registered first as initial beneficiaries.
The General Manager emphasized an important gap: while many children are registered, several lack essential identification documents. To address this, all field coordinators have been tasked with tracking children missing documents and assisting their families in obtaining them promptly.
Key documents, including birth certificates, can be obtained at NIRA offices. Ensuring that every child has proper documentation is not only vital for their participation in PAF programs but also directly contributes to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
- SDG 1 – No Poverty: Enabling access to support programs for vulnerable children.
- SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being: Ensuring children can access healthcare and social services.
- SDG 4 – Quality Education: Guaranteeing children can enroll in school and benefit from educational opportunities.
- SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: Promoting legal identity for all children.
We appreciate all attendees for their commitment and collaboration. PAF remains steadfast in ensuring that every child we serve is properly documented and receives the support they deserve, empowering them to thrive and reach their full potential.
