Volunteer Opportunity – Health & Medical Care

Pneuma African Foundation is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our Health and Medical Care Programs in Uganda and other African countries.

We are a faith-driven, people-centered international civil society organization committed to addressing poverty, inequality, poor health, and social exclusion through practical community-based solutions.

What We Do

We work to:

• Strengthen community health systems
• Promote disease prevention and healthy lifestyles
• Support vulnerable and marginalized populations
• Deliver medical care and humanitarian assistance
• Improve access to clean water, sanitation, and safe housing
• Respond to health emergencies and disasters

Who Can Apply

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (preferred: Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, Laboratory Science, Health Administration, or related disciplines)
  OR
• Diploma in any of the above fields with at least 1 years of professional experience

Essential Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptable, proactive, and community-oriented
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Experience in community health, outreach, or humanitarian response is an advantage

Eligibility

• Age: 25 – 65 years
• Genuine passion for improving health in African communities
